About me

Hello and welcome! I am a speech-language therapist and audiologist, with a special interest in paediatric feeding and communication therapy. My practice is based in Sandown, Sandton.

I am a toddler mom and I love reading, baking and going on outdoor adventures with my family.

I have been working with babies, children and their families since the beginning of my speech therapy journey, and I have a passion for early intervention and multidisciplinary work. I am a neurodiversity affirming speech therapist.

My career:

-
I found my love for paediatrics at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital in 2011, where I spent 3 years learning from an amazing team.
-
2014: Children’s Communication Centre (permanent speech therapist at the school with a private caseload in the afternoons)
-
2015 - August 2022: The Talk Shop (permanent speech therapist at the school with a private caseload in the afternoons)
-
August 2022: I opened my private practice on a full time basis

I primarily see patients within the birth - 5 years age group. My goal is to ensure that each patient and their caregivers achieve their own goals, at their own pace, and to use their skills with meaning and enjoyment.
